Tête-à-Tête

Somebody take the blender away from me! But seriously, I love this banana peanut butter smoothie I made. It's really easy to make.

First, I froze the banana the night before so I wouldn't have to put ice cubes. So, I chopped it into chunks and placed them in the blender. Along with half a cup of milk, a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter and a tablespoon of agave. I used agave instead of honey because it's healthier and we didn't have any. And there you have it, a banana peanut butter smoothie. Perfect to start your day.

Listen to this brand new song, Tête-à-Tête, from Walk The Moon. I am absolutely loving it! It has such a great hook. I'm already singing along to it! I can't stop singing, "I want you just as bad. Why can't you see". They're so good, one of my favorite bands. Make sure to also check out their Tightrope EP coming out January 22nd. I'm excited!

Breakfast and Music

A smoothie and a great album,  that's how everyone should start their days. It's a great combination and just puts you in a very pleasant vibe. And, you can never go wrong with The Beatles. I've been making a lot of these smoothies these past few days because 1) we have an abundance of fruits at my place, 2) they're easy to make, and 3) they taste really good. I just love these. They're absolutely amazing plus extremely healthy. Get on it!

Current band crush/es:
Alt-j and Alabama Shakes. Listen to them. You might like them too. Check out Alt-j's Matilda and Alabama Shakes' Hold On.

Listen to this playlist I've put together. Enjoy.

Global Mala Project Manila

The Global Mala Project Manila was held last September 1, 2012 and it was a great day to dedicate to all things yoga. The event was held at Rockwell Tent and led by Teresa Herrera. All proceeds go to Trees for the Future and Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park. There were all sorts of yoga classes during the day but we only attended the 108 Namaskars, Ashtanga led by Rebecca De Villa, Drum Jam, and Yoga for Athletes. I wish I could've stayed until the end but I didn't want to push my body any further. My arms were already killing me from those chaturangas. The day after was worse. Every limb of my body was sore. Oh, the things I do for the love of yoga. This was a totally new and great experience for me, especially when you've got good company. I've been dreaming to go to Wanderlust and I guess this is half a step to experiencing that.

The Weekend

It was my parent's 26th anniversary last June 28 and we just wanted a simple celebration. So on Sunday, we decided to have lunch at one of our favorites, The Boutique at Tagaytay. This bnb's actually pretty cool. We've always loved their baby back ribs. And a few years back, we were able to stay at the i Escape room and our cousins over at the i Lust room.
After our late, late lunch, we then headed to Bag of Beans for coffee and dessert.

Oh, going back to Saturday, we watched The Amazing Spider-Man. I can't even.
Also, I made my first Qwiki.
